OUR FIRMCumberland Design & Building Company, Inc. has
served Central Pennsylvania for over 50 years as one of the most
comprehensive construction firms in the area. Formerly known as
Cumberland Buildings Company, Inc., the firm was created in 1951 by
Dave Rogers. From its inception, Cumberland's vision for construction
was process inclusive, incorporating both in house engineering and an
experienced construction workforce. That philosophy has meant total
control and quality monitoring for our clients. That's probably why
Cumberland enjoys a strong loyalty from our past customers.
The firm has served customers from Hagerstown, MD. to
Freehold, NJ. We have worked for a variety of industries including
food service, hotel, automotive, trucking, distribution,
manufacturing, heath services, retail, and retirement communities.
In 1992, W. R. Unger assumed the presidency of
Cumberland, now officially known as Cumberland Design & Building
Company, Inc. Since that time, the firm has undertaken over 30 new
client relationships and worked to enhance our design/build
capabilities. The firm's association with Butler Buildings provides
clients with valuable cost-efficient options in their choice of
steel or concrete structured building applications.
