A Butler Building
| The L.B. Smith, Inc. Ford project included
replacing the existing showroom and used car / truck buildings
with new structures, as well as face - lifting the remaining
portion of the existing facility. The project was complicated
by the fact that the showroom and the used car / truck
buildings had to be demolished prior to beginning the
new building while L.B. Smith Ford remained in business.
The customer's business actually increased during the
12 month construction project. Cumberland Design and Building
Company, Inc. was the design / build / general contractor
for this project. Design was coordinated with the local
dealership but approval by Ford Motor Company was required
for the overall concept plan. |
